For the first few days in France, I have been taking things easy to overcome jetlag. While walking around town on Monday I was greeted with a spectacular cloud formation, which seemed to be a bank of clouds building up from an upward draft of humid air. With the sun slowly setting, the mass of cloud slowly shifted from a giant white wave breaking silently over the horizon, to a blanket of rosy pink candy floss. I also watched as a military aircraft circled overhead a few times, before dropping parachute troops in the distance during an air force exercise which happens frequently in this area.
As I recover from travel, I will get out and about around the region as often as possible. I will do my best to post every few days, as travel, time and family allow. Thank you for your patience and stay tuned!
