Holdsworth Circuit, Tararua Ranges

Here is a collection of photos from the Jumbo Holdsworth circuit in the Tararua Ranges. With a group of work colleagues and friends, I hiked up to Powell hutt, which overlooks Masterton and the Wairarapa. It’s a really cool place with amazing views and striking sunsets. Unfortunately I caught a chill so couldn’t reach the summit of Mt Holdsworth, I instead stayed in the Hutt and slept it off.

The track to the hut was quite challenging, getting very steep before the hutt. But it has a great variety of flora to keep it interesting the whole way.
