Blue Pools Track, Mount Aspiring National Park

Located along the Haast Pass highway north of Lake Wanaka, this one hour return track takes you through native beech and podocarp forest, over two suspension bridges to natural glacial water pools. Many people brave the icy-cold water and go for a dive off the bridge.
